Avoid fabric softener on sherpa and faux fur throws, as it can flatten the fibres over time. A gentle shake and a cool-setting tumble dry for a few minutes after washing will help restore the fluffiness of sherpa throws if they come out of the wash looking slightly flat.

For knitted throws, hand washing or a delicate machine cycle is recommended, with flat drying to prevent stretching.
